Roads like skating rinks after a light dusting and now freezing rain. Predictions of 1/2" of ice will break a few tree limbs later. Tire chains for the boots and rain gear; for the foolish who venture outside the next 24 hours.
Winter has been tough here, so working outside has come to a halt an ice storm will change all that so you need to be prepared for going out in the elements to deal with downed trees and broken limbs that are sure to follow. Sharpen up that chainsaw, get the sand and salt ready for those footpaths, be prepared.
